    Another bright, bright

    sunshiny day…and I have been out and got my running all done for the day.  Post office, no mail, not even junk mail; cable TV office, HBO still not working properly.  Little local grocery store where I ran into Jim’s nephew’s old fiancée that he was was engaged to right after they both graduated from high school.  She was so glad to see me she gave me a big hug.  Don’t you just love small towns. 

    Big savings at the grocery store today, Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats (my favorite cereal), a gallon of milk, 2 bags of Halls sugar free cough drops, 2 Healthy Choice TV dinners, 1 lb of butter and Green Giant 4pack single serving veggies all for $10.92 with coupons and senior discount.  And now you ask, what are you going to do with the butter??  LOL  Well it is the time of the year for goodie baking.  Anyone interested in coupons, go to www.coupons.com.  There is always a few coupons there that I can use.

    I mowed the beans in my front yard on Sunday afternoon and now the yard is covered with beans again plus leaves from my new neighbors trees.  They have neither mowed or raked since they moved in.  They seem like nice people but not the type that gives a tiddleypoop what their yard looks like.  Sandi was so particular with her yard and her flowers and now nobody cares.  Oh well, that is life.  It does make it harder for me cleaning up after them.

    EEK!!  I have done a big rant and this is only Tuesday.

    I hope ‘we’ are all having a good week.

    HI Beth A GOOD Old rant thats just dandy you go ahead , baking did you say I HAVE JUST MADE SOME SWEET MINCE PIES.Oh and talking of cleaning my vacumn broke down about 9 days ago and I still am still without it heck !!! I think I am going crazy I gave them a call but its still standing in the work shop...Have a good week.ps Its good to have a hug so here's another one HUG.

    I hate people who start building workon their houses then leave all the rubbish outside for months or get halfway through a job then give up on it with half the guttering missing or only one window painted.

    Glad to hear things are going OK. Our neighbor across the street is the same way with his unmowed lawn. He NEVER mows it or fixes anything in it. One of our other neighbors (who has only one leg) goes over with his riding lawn mower and mows from time to time. Bummer to have all those weeds right across the way. I guess all you can do is grin and bear it!

I know what you are talking about when it comes to your yard, I always try to keep my yard looking good, my Mom always told me you can tell what kind of housekeeper a person is by the way their yard looks? So I don't want people to think I'm messy!!! LOL so I just about do myself in sometimes keeping the yard up. Hope you have a great Wednesday. Hugs, Patsy

    The bean war continues does it? I've been running around all day trying to get people where they need to go in a borrowed car because ours is getting an oil change. Our town isn't so small that you could manage all that without a vehicle. It looks like we'll be facing this winter with four new tires too, that my dear friend is a huge answer to prayer! The weather remains mild and I'm thankful, we got one recording session done...I'm hugely thankful for that. I'm actually getting so I don't get uptight playing guitar when being recorded...still not my favorite way to play but at least I can tolerate it better now...no time to manage the yard...maybe I'd be one of those people you'd be frustrated with if I were next door to you! Have a great day!

    Anytime you can walk out of the grocery store for under 10$ is a good thing. Love the sun but not to fond of the chilly temps. Every year it gets harder and harder to get use to the cold again.
